This is the European imagine centre which was designed to show off the developments of HP. We installed nine HD screens and an HD projection system with centrally controlled HD sources, which needed to be routed to a several different combinations of display, and partnered with the audio, via concealed ceiling speakers. Each source also required its own local laptop position for adhoc use, and for a real “wow-factor” LED light wall controls allowed for messages to be displayed, or just for a fabulous light show.
The complete area was controlled by a wireless touch panel, which presented the challenge of there being several different combinations of panel/button design. This was discussed with HP and implemented, then fine-tuned over a period of six months taking into consideration the feedback from different users.
Due to the complexity of the design and the nature of the area, HP now have an all-important maintenance contract to ensure that it remains a flag ship of the their product portfolio.
