The Aviva Head Office in the City had a requirement for a Boardroom befitting the status of Aviva and three large conference rooms that are divisible by folding doors so they can be used individually or in different combinations.
The Boardroom has twin sixty inch screens which displays HD videoconferencing which has the capabilities of hosting a multi point call of up to four calls with the the ability to share PC presentations with the other end in a call. As they have twin screens they can view a PC presentation from others or display any different combinations which makes the call comfortable.
Having the displays designed correctly is half the battle because dependent on the room, Avivas expectations of the over all feel the audio is arguably the most important element of a Video and audio conference call. So after a demonstration the ceiling mic configuration was chosen over and above the tab emic combination.
Aviva has a requirement occasionally to display fine figure work which would be a strain to read on the Plasma's so we installed a retractable projection system which ca display any of the PC sources on to a 2500mm wide electric recessed projection screen.
The complete system including the lighting and blind operations are controlled using a wireless colour touch panel which is designed for complete ease of use so anyone can walk in and instantly use the room.
The Three Divisible Rooms
These areas are multi purpose for high level meetings for 12 or the area becomes one for televised annual presentations with company results/news. We have installed a high brightness retractable projection system in each room to display onto large retractable recessed screens which are capable of Freeview,PC from multiple locations and simultaneously display of the content on all screens. An end room has two projection systems so the orientation can be changed subject to the audience and presentation.
Each area has a zoned audio design so wireless microphones can be used for voice amplification plus the presentation audio. Each room also has audio conferencing but the challenge was the mic system. In this area they originally had ceiling mics that weren't satisfactory due to the room acoustics, position of audience so we have installed the wireless table mic system that gives them powerful audio and great flexibility.
The complete system including the lighting and blind operations are controlled using individual wireless colour touch panels which is designed for complete ease of use so anyone can walk in and instantly use the room yet have a chosen master control when the rooms are one.
Maintenance has been the saviour on several occasions when key eople aren't able to assist on a particular day and when the unforeseeable happens Ikure's smiling face arrives to fix the problem.
